Mélodie Marot

Mélodie has been dancing since childhood and discovered theater in high school. Surrounded by her father's music and her teachers' social engagement, she made her first experiences in directing at that time. She then spent several years learning acting through various trainings in Paris before returning to dancing and exploring burlesque and dance theater. Since then, her research has focused on the connections between language and movement. With a degree in art production and a specialization in theater from a conservatory, she enjoys combining theater with visual arts or other performing arts. Mélodie has performed with Pixelkitchen, Chendance, &popure, and is currently part of Collectif Fluides. She is also working on her first physical theater creation based on George Sand's novel La Petite Fadette.
